Gazebo Work Bee!
We now have 7 or 8 volunteers for Saturday Sept. 1 which is FANTASTIC, but we could always use a few more. We will be getting the pad prepped for the concrete for the gazebo and will be putting in forms, raking gravel, putting in and tying rebar. No experience necessary – just a pair of work gloves if you’ve got ‘em. Meet us in the Waskasoo Playground at 45th Ave and 58th St at NOON-ish on Saturday. If all goes according to plan, we should have someone here pouring concrete on the 4th !!!!
We could also use some muscle to help us unload and put up the construction fencing on Friday evening. We have 5 or so volunteers but need someone to help do some of the heavier lifting and placing. It shouldn’t take more than an hour at the most. Meet us at the playground at 6:30 on Friday if you can help out.
Feel free to just drop by and help out but if you can let me know beforehand I would appreciate it for planning purposes.

DUE TO THE IMPENDING STORM, OUR BBQ IS BEING RELOCATED TO THE TENT IN FRONT OF KERRY WOOD NATURE CENTRE.
Please share this with your neighbours and we will be putting A'frames up at the playground directing our neighbours to the new location. Don't forget your rain gear and a chair.
If anyone has a bike they decorated, please bring it out for display and get a prize!
It is also a great time to renew your membership.
