The Waskasoo Community Association represents 950 people within the following area

North of 55th Street,

East of 49th Avenue

South of the Red Deer River, and
-
West of the east escarpment
On the outskirts of Red Deer's downtown, our neighbourhood includes some of the city's oldest homes, three large destination schools, the Red Deer Memorial Centre, a portion of the river trail system, and the Kerry Wood Nature Centre.

Waskasoo Walking Tour
Take the Waskasoo Community Association's self-guided Waskasoo Walking Tour and learn more about the history of our neighbourhood. Winner of a 2018 Red Deer and Area Heritage Award, the tour is available free of charge at Red Deer City Hall, the Downtown Library, Sports Hall of Fame and Kerry Wood Nature Centre.
